Brooloo

If you really want to get off the tourist route, a side trip to Brooloo will give you a taste of a small Noosa Outback community.
A small creek flows through the George Burtenshaw Feature Protection Area Bellbird Habitat, commonly known as the Brooloo Bellbird Habitat. You can take a picnic lunch and relax while listening to the tinkling call of the Bellbird and watching a variety of other birds on the banks of the creek.

Join the Mary Valley Rail Trail, a 4.7km trail for walking, horses and bicycles which is a repurposing of the old Brooloo to Imbil rail line.
As you drive through the Mary Valley keep your eye out for impressive views of the Brooloo Bluff with its rocky escarpment.
Brooloo Park offers eco camping, horse riding and catch and release fishing on their 270 acre working farm. Platypus and turtles can be seen by guests who patiently watch and take in the tranquil surrounds of the picturesque Coonoon Gibber Creek.
