Amamoor

Amamoor is a small country village that comes alive in August for the Country Music Muster when thousands descend to hear some of Australia’s greatest country music.
There are also some hidden gems to be found at and around Amamoor.
Amamoor Station is famous for the lovingly restored Mary Valley Rattler heritage steam train which is an experience of yesteryear that everyone will enjoy.
The Amamoor State Forest is a bird lover’s delight with over 120 species able to be found in its riverine forests. Amamoor Creek is also renowned for finding platypus at play at dawn and dusk. There are several walking tracks through the forest from short walks to longer treks for the more adventurous.
