With 480 hectares of lake surface area it is a mecca for those who enjoy canoeing, boating, water skiing or fishing.<br \/>The lake is stocked with Australian bass, golden perch, silver perch and Mary River cod by the Lake Borumba Fish Stocking Association. A fishing permit is required which funds the stocking. There is also a great saratoga fishery from previous stocking that has established a breeding population.<br \/>Lake Borumba Caravan and Camping Ground is 800m from the lake adjacent to the Yabba Creek.
